  • ""The abuse and trafficking I went through didn't “make me stronger”, it broke me. I am permanently disabled by the trauma, and have been unable to get a post secondary education or ever work full time. Currently I am too disabled to work at all, and I am living in extreme poverty, just trying to keep a roof over my head, pay my bills and feed myself. My entire community and extended family disowned me at age 13, when I tried to tell about the abuse. I have been very isolated my entire life since age 13. I struggled with homelessness, eating disorder, severe mental illness, being vulnerable to sexual predators later in life, isolation, and poverty because of the abuse and trafficking I went through. The child welfare system, police and justice systems, education system, mental health system, and government disability have failed me in many ways. I have fallen through cracks with all of these. Trafficking IS HAPPENING in your backyard. Often it is children's own parents/guardians who are trafficking them. Kids going to school with your kids are being trafficked every day. This is not an issue that is far removed from any of us. If even ONE adult had seen all the red flags and warning signs of severe abuse that I had, I could have been rescued from it. Instead, I suffered in silence until I was able to free myself as an adult."

Overview

The Save Our Children Worldwide movement started in America where one dedicated and loving father (scottythekid) said enough was enough. The Epstein files brought this darkness to light and we commend Scotty for standing up against evil and being an advocate for the children who have lost their lives to trafficking and exploitation. Because the laws are different in Canada, we created this website to highlight ways we can work towards protecting children in Canada. Petitions we can sign, locations we can protest, and ways we can help. We also want to provide connections to services for those who have dealt with trafficking and exploitation. We love you and we see you. We will stop at nothing to stand beside you and do all we can to make a change.
